Member Connie Tallman’s Garden
Thirteen members toured Connie’s beautiful garden. Connie and her husband purchased their Sequim home in 2019. While the house was originally built in the 60’s, the previous owners have all added their personal elements of gardening features to the home.

The beautiful and unique eye catching water feature in the middle of her garden is a sweet babbling brook winding down the hill to a koi pond. The water feature contains 3,000 gallons of water with a bio filter at the top pool with a filter and skimmer at the bottom near the pump intake. Although it was not built as a koi pond there have been koi swimming happily in the pond for years.

Her yard and garden has many mature trees including a stunning Weeping Blue Atlas Spruce, a Pansy Red Bud and varieties of Japanese Maple. Connie has added climbing roses and ferns this year but the mature clematis takes the prize
