  Leilani is back this year to share more of her vast gardening knowledge (and charming sense of humor) as we get ready to welcome Spring back to our gardens. There’s always lots to do at this transitioning time of year, so Leilani will guide us through our end-of-Winter chores and give us some fresh ideas for Spring and Summer gardening.

  Topic: A World of Plants
  

  Dan is a world-renowned “plantsman” as well as an author and horticultural consultant who travels the world in search of interesting plant species for propagation to fill his private garden here in the Pacific Northwest. He is also the creator and former owner of Heronswood Nursery near Kingston. Dan will speak to us about some of the fascinating plants he’s found during his far-flung travels.

  Topic: Dahlias – Queen of Flowers?
  

  Jennifer is a member of the Clallam County Dahlia Society and is a passionate fan of the beautiful Dahlia. She is very excited to spur our enthusiasm for her favorite flower by giving us her own “practical aspects” primer for success in adding dahlias (or more dahlias) to our own gardens. She’ll bring examples and photos of some of her favorites from the huge range of dahlia cultivars.
